Thousands of students from all over the world come to Germany every year for studies. Depending on the qualifications, some students get direct admission in the university and some of the students have to do 1-year Studienkolleg in order to get admission in the university.
Before I explain, I want you to check, that if you get admission direct in the university or you have to do the Studienkolleg.
What is Studienkolleg?
This is a course of 1 year. In Germany, the basic study is up to 13th class ( Abitur ). In most of the foreign countries the basic study is up to 12th and then you get the admission in the university. So if you have in your country up to 12th class studied then you have to do 1-year Studienkolleg to meet Germany’s requirements to get admission in university in your desired course.
