The links actually are of two types. Inbound links and outbound links. In this post my main focus is on inbound links but before I explain you about this I want to tell you little bit about Outbound links.
Outbound links are actually those links which you put on your own site or blog. For example, If you are writing a post about backlinks and you want to mention a list of sites offering backlinks and you have find a cool list on some other blog, then you mention about that blog link in your post. So that link will be outbound.
Now we come to our main focus.
What are Inbound Links ?
You are curious to know about these links and why not. Don’t worry I will explain you in detail.
The terms Inbound links and the backlinks actually are same. There is no difference in them. Those links which point to your website or blog and your posts are Inbound backlinks. These links are found on other’s sites. So they will tell you how popular your site is. The greater the Inbound links you have the more the popularity your site has and more the visitors you will have.
Why must you check regularly your inbound backlinks ?
- In this way you know who is coming to your website.
- And you know from which sites they are coming.
- And finally of which quality they are.
Importance of Inbound Backlinks :
They are of great value from seo point of view. They help you increase your site rankings. If your Inbound links are of high quality you will easily outrank your competitors sites and come quickly on top in search results.
How to Monitor Inbound links :
There are lots of tools available on internet to monitor your links. But I suggest you to use Ahrefs because I am also using this tool and found it perfect for me. I hope it will also be perfect for you.
An advice for you !!
Please be consistent in building quality back-links to your site because S.E.O never stops. If you stop building links then your competitors will outrank you and your site will go down in search engine rankings.
